 Hey Hey He’s a Monkee
He’s the last Monkee standing, he’s Micky Dolenz. I met Micky when he was a celebrity guest on a game show I hosted called Acting Crazy. It was a show that was created and produced by Blair Murdoch of West Vancouver. We taped the show at CKVU studios in Vancouver and it ran across the Global Television Network in 1991-92 and then again in 1994-95, with re-runs on Prime TV and also Game TV.  I don’t know the exact year, but this tale takes place about 27 years ago when I was preparing for a national telethon in Toronto for the charitable organization, World Vision. Part of that preparation was to go to Brazil with a camera crew and witness firsthand some of the projects that were in place.
 You should have been The Graduate!
He leaned forward, pointed at me, and in a very loud voice said “You should have been the Graduate!” Those words were spoken to me by Academy Award-winning actor Dustin Hoffman, who was the Graduate. How did this come about, you might ask? |
