 Scammed
I’ve never been accused of being the sharpest knife in the drawer, but never the dullest either. However, an event that happened recently has me wondering. I’ve heard stories of the elderly being scammed out of their life savings by crooks and con artists on the internet, but I never thought it would almost happen to me. I think I was only one or two clicks away from having my bank account emptied! The crazy thing was, they didn’t come looking for me, I walked right into their trap.  Hay there!
Everyone is noticing the price of groceries these days, and it seems they just keep going up and up! I’m no economist so I can’t get into the reasons why, but have you seen the cost of hay these days! No? Well let me tell you, the cows and horses aren’t happy when they go to the hay store. Ah, Super Bowl Sunday! The San Francisco 49’s square off against the Kansas City Chiefs. Someone said it was amazing that Taylor Swift was able to make it to the Super Bowl in her rookie year! The game of the year is often overshadowed by the halftime show which seems to get more outrageous every year. And of course, the Super Bowl commercials have been hit and miss over the years, but one thing’s for sure, they cost a fortune, as do tickets to the game. According to TickPick, last week the average price for a ticket to the game was $9,800, making it the most expensive Super Bowl on record. Who knows what the price will be today on game day! |
